What If Cars

1950 Lincoln Continental

1950 Lincoln Continental

Description : "What If" Lincoln had received alot of irate letters when they discontinued their Continental series? This stunning car was dropped for 1949 when Lincoln introduced an all new body design. So for 1950, we see the embodiment of elegance making a triumphant return. Based on the more nimble jr series shell, we see cues from the 1940-48 model in the roofline and "moulded in" spare. Cues from the 1956 Mark II still in the future are, the grille, high open rear fender wells, and the famous "star emblem" . Body mods to the standard Lincoln shell include side coves, and slight stretch to the rear quarters, with spare embossed on the trunk lid. Lastly spinner wheelcovers, wraparound rear grille, and the hidden headlights complete this dashing machine.
