"Hello out there in dream car land... A bit a about myself and how this site came to be. I have been crazy about cars since I was a tot. My parents tell me that my first word was not mom or dad, ...but car. I became totally infatuated car design on my 5th birthday. I was given a large, tin plate 1958 Continental conv. in mint green. It took up most my bureau top. There I stood at eye level with this dazzling beauty...I was hooked forever! As a kid I was always building model cars, and began drawing them too. Stock, hot rod, and just plain made up. When asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I did not answer with the standard fireman, policeman, or ball player. I would tell people that I was going to Detroit to be a car designer. I went so far as to take Commercial Art in trade school, and sent out some inquiring letters to the various car makers. But alas life sometimes takes down different roads. Fast forward to a few years ago. At a large local car show, I befriended an extremely knowledgeable car buff, and brilliant car designer. He discovered that I used to draw cars, and began challenging me to draw again. That mans name is Emett Grandone, to whom I dedicate this site. For without his initial encouragement, this site would not even exist. I amassed quite a pile of drawings, and decided to share them with everyone. A new car will be added each month as well. Here's hoping that you enjoy them, and be challenged to think ..."What If".
